To Whom It May Concern:
My name is Lori Stellwagen and my husband Matt and I had the pleasure of working with Realtor Jackie Gibson during the summer of 2009. We originally contacted Jackie regarding one of her listings in which we were interested. During our conversation, both my husband and myself felt comfortable with Jackie’s easy going personality, clear knowledge of the market, and incredible experience in real estate. These qualities, among many others, made her a great choice to list our house with her as our agent. Personally, my husband and I were under great pressure to sell our house quickly and find one we could move into; we were both teachers with the summer off and were expecting our first child in late summer. Jackie quickly had our house listed, key boxed, and up on the Internet sites within 24 hours! Jackie worked diligently to maintain beautiful web pictures, including 360-degree photos, which would entice other agents and buyers to want to see our property in person. She hosted many realtor open houses and solicited feedback from agents to help our house sell more quickly. Within 8 weeks, we had over 20 showings and multiple offers. We were fortunate to have Jackie working on our side in this tough market. We accepted an offer, purchased a new house with her help, and closed on both properties within one month! In addition, she saw us through tough home inspections and negotiations, and was even able to help us follow up after the closings of both our houses on small issues. I believe she would even be there to help us now if we needed something.
I write this letter as I sit in our new, beautiful dream home and think about all the qualities that make Jackie one of the best agents in our area. She is extremely professional, courteous, and personable. She demonstrates an overwhelming knowledge of current market conditions and communicates them to her clients and uses it to her advantage. She has great marketing strategies as well as great personal skills to communicate with her clients and other agents. She has a wonderfully subtle aggressiveness when negotiating and is very open and honest.
Most importantly, Jackie let my husband and I make decisions for our own life and our family. There was never any pressure from her to do anything we didn’t want to do and we are so very appreciative of this. I recommend Jackie to every person I know when it is time for them to buy or sell a house. We were very fortunate to have Jackie as our realtor and I am sure we will be friends for a long time to come.

Your professional, objective advice and calm, postive manner helped during what for us was an emotional transition. We particularly appreciated your realistic approach to pricing and your advice to list early and ask for a long close date - all of which contributed to our success during a challenging market. You went beyond the call of duty assisting with the delivery of packages to us that arrived at our former home after the closing.

I cannot say enough great things about Jackie Gibson. In the spring of 2007 we were moving back to the Wheaton area after several years overseas. We chose Jackie to help us find a home. Because we were so far away and had limited time to visit Wheaton, it was critical for our realtor to quickly understand what we were looking for. Jackie did a great job communicating with us via email and phone calls before we came to visit, so by the time we were able to visit she understood exactly what we were looking for. We did not quickly find what we wanted, which meant my husband had to squeeze in time to look during subsequent business trips to the area. Jackie was very flexible, arranging her schedule so she could show Dave around when he was available. She went out of her way to email pictures back to me in England so I could “see” the homes even though I wasn’t in Wheaton. When I was able to come back for a quick weekend trip to see the home we liked, Jackie made herself available in the midst of a busy family weekend to show us around. I always appreciated that extra mile she would go to give us the personal attention we needed.
Jackie was also a model of patience and professionalism in the midst of some very difficult situations. We had offers on two homes fall through; both took several days to resolve. As the time we had to find a house before our move date got shorter, Jackie always remained optimistic and stayed on top of the changing market to find new properties for us to look at.
The terrific service Jackie provided did not stop once the contract was signed. Being overseas made it a challenge to arrange inspections, complete the contract, ensure follow-up work was completed, etc. Jackie willingly stepped in to interface with inspectors, attorneys, and contractors, and maintained communication with us the entire time to ensure everything was ready for the closing when we finally arrived back in the US.
I would highly recommend Jackie to anyone looking for a home in the Wheaton area. She made a difficult overseas move much easier for us. Her professionalism and wonderful personality make her a joy to work with.

We are very pleased with the great job Jackie made: completely understanding what we were looking for, working after hours, during holidays, during weekends, always searching for more and more options, until we found the correct one. It wasn't an easy task visiting 68 houses in 3 days, and finding the one. Once we found it, she even helped us with the schools' appointments, and most important of all, she explained and guided us through the complete buying process (in Mexico is different).
Out of the eight Mexican families that Kellogg has relocated during the last 6 years, we can assure we are the ones with the greatest experience in terms of service, quality and attention, during the house hunting and buying process.
In case any other Kellogg Mexican family is relocated to Chicago, for sure we will recommend Jackie as realtor.
